Yes, we know, it's about time!  We are excited to finally tie the knot and share this special day with you.  As many of you know, we love to travel and the Bride To Be loves the beach....so it only made sense for us to get married on one!  Our destination wedding will be held on July 11, 2013 at the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort on the Mayan Riviera.  We would love for everyone to attend.

For those of you who can join us, thank you for traveling to Mexico with us to celebrate our marriage.  Even if we had to lure you to attend with an all-inclusive package, it means a lot to have your presence at our wedding.  You all bring light and love into our lives and we can't wait to create more memorable moments with you!

For those of you who are unable to join us, we know you would if you could.  We are grateful for your love and support and want to make sure we celebrate our marriage with everyone.  We plan on hosting some local events so we can all rejoice in this new journey together.  Please check our website often, as we will post dates and information on our local celebrations as they get scheduled. 

Our ceremony will be held on July 11, 2013, at 1:00pm on the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort.  Because we truly appreciate everyone making the effort to join us on our special day, all of our guests will be treated to an ocean view seat! 

We envision our ceremony to be simple and casual and we want all of our guests to be comfortable, so dressy casual is the theme.  More specifically, we would like all of our male guests to wear white tops (guayaberas would be awesome!) and khaki colored bottoms.  Shorts are acceptable - after all, it's the beach!  The bride will need something blue, so we would like our female guests to wear a shade of blue (turquoise, light, baby, navy, royal, periwinkle, etc. - you get the point).  Sundresses are really cute but we'll let your fashion sense guide you on that.  Yes, we know.  This seems a bit picky, but think of how great the photos will look!

We hope to keep everyone informed of any special events or gatherings during our stay in the Riviera Maya.  As we get closer to our departure and confirm details with our resort coordinator, we will be notifying you of any special events.  On the agenda for now is some fun in the sun, ice cold beverages, and good times with good friends!

Backyard BBQ is very much our style so all of our pre- and post-wedding celebrations will take place in a comfortable and casual setting.  After all, formal celebrations wouldn't match our beach themed wedding!  We do plan on hosting a gathering after we return from our wedding for family and friends not able to join us.  Check back often for more information and updates on these events....hopefully we'll have it updated!

Please contact our travel agent, Lyn Wolff, for all the information you need to book your trip.  Her phone number is 210-490-2400, however, she's best reached by e-mail at lyn@ajtravel.com.  Included in your travel package is airfare, hotel accomodations and transportation from the airport to the resort.  Payments are accepted, as long as your entire trip is paid off by June 7.

Know before you go:

• We will be on our weddingmoon from June 7-14.  Feel free to travel anytime during these dates.  Remember our ceremony is July 11!


• If you don't have a passport, you'll need to get one.  Don't procrastinate as it takes a few weeks to get.


• Once you book your trip, please let us know so we can make appropriate arrangements for our wedding ceremony.
