We have been together now for over a year and a half. We met one night through some friends at a party. Brandon was at his friend's 21st birthday party and I was with some friends at a completely different party. We met up at the bar and we got to talking. No, it wasn't love at first sight, but it was something. He did end up putting my number in his phone that evening to hang out again. So, a few days later when he still hadn't called to hang out I tried texting him to see if he wanted to hang out with some mutual friends. He did not answer or get back to me in the next few days so I left him alone. A few days later he got back to me by text message. So, I called him that next weekend to come hang out. When he answered I could tell something wasn't quite right. I asked for his name and he said.... Tom. Brandon had put the WRONG number in my phone that night! I had spent almost two whole weeks talking some 30 year old guy from Southern Iowa who was trying to come here and meet me!! Needless to say, I didn't care to meet with Brandon after that! I Facebooked him and let him know how big of a.. well ya know, he is! He swore he didn't do it on purpose and our first date was spent with him apologizing for his mistake! Ever since the first ride on his father's motorcycle... we have been inseperable and completely head over heels for each other! Thank God for his mistake!

As most of you know, our wedding ceremony is going to start by sigining papers in Brandon's family's church in Decorah, Iowa. It's not going to be much, but we will be making our marriage official on that day! It will contain prayer, blessings, and the signing of our marriage certificate. The time and date for this small ceremony is not set in stone yet so I can let everyone know as soon as we know!

We are then going to have a wonderful symbolic ceremony in Riviera Maya, Mexico! It's going to be the actual wedding ceremony, most likely right on the beach, next to the beautiful ocean and filled with love! After the wedding we will hang out, have fun, bask in the sun celebrating our new life together with our families and then a beautiful private dinner that evening. After that, to the club we go for some VIP treatment, good drinks, and dancing! Thank you so much for everyone who is joining us to celebrate such a wonderful day of ours! For those who aren't able to make it, we will be thinking of you and can't wait to share our special day with you through pictures, stories, video, and a small ceremony back home.

Finally, the last four days of our stay in Mexico we are being upgraded into the resort's five star palace resort for more of a honeymoon. Our families and anyone else joining us in Mexico will not be able to come to this resort so it's time to ourselves the first days of our married lives! So, the reason we made this wedding webpage is because it is a registery for things to us to do while we are on our honeymoon! Anything we don't use while we are there will be given to us in cash when we arrive home. So, if you aren't able to attend and spend the time with us, but still would like to help us celebrate, this is the perfect gift!
