I can still remember the first day that I met Ryan.  Thanks to our brothers we were blessed to share our lives.  Ryan showed up at my house for an unsuspecting meeting for a Sunday Texans Football gathering.  He came wearing his long sleeve light blue plaid shirt with the sleeves partially rolled up, khaki shorts and his tennis shoes.  He was very quiet and very polite and seemingly well mannered...he even brought a dessert, um a cheescake if you can believe that!  It is my favorite however.  Ryan helped with dinner and met Hunter for the first time on that November day...I think Ryan was excited to meet this kid who was playing a Star Wars game on the computer more than Hunter was to meet this guy who was oddly interested in his game!  I had on my red Texans jersey and was excited about getting to know Ryan better.  We went on our first date two short days later and well as they say, the rest is history!!  I love this man and am so happy that I will be sharing the rest of my life with him and our two beautiful children.
