Trevin and Rianne went to the same high school in Goddard, KS. However, they didn't officially meet each other until the summer of 2013 while both home from college on summer break. After spending the majority of their time together, Trevin decided to make it official underneath the bridge before a float trip and have been together ever since. 

Somehow, they survived a long distance love while Rianne attended K-State. 

On June 9th, 2015 Rianne turned 21 and Trevin had planned a big birthday surprise. After work he took Rianne dinner for sushi and drinks and Wasabi. While she wanted to stay a while for a few more drinks, he had other plans to take her to the Keeper of the Plains. He was on a tight schedule to get there for the Ring of Fire at 9 pm. He blindfolded her and walked her down the steps. Once they made it to the bottom, he took off the blindfold and gave her a birthday card that read:

"Rianne, every year that I'm with you, has been better than the one before. It's hard for me to even think how I could ever love you more. When I met you, I met my destiny. My one true love you'll always be. If you feel the same, and I truly hope you do... There's something very important that I want to ask of you.."

Trevin got down on one knee right there in front of my family, his mother and our friends.
